Coming from Eastern Austria take the motorway past Salzburg and Kufstein, leave the motorway at the Achensee exit and follow the road 178 via Maurach to Achenkirch. Turn right off the main road at the Steinberg turn-off. After a short climb, you will reach the “Leiten” district after 500m. At the bus stop, turn left uphill. You will now see three farmhouses on a hill. The one in the middle is the Tuxerhof.

From Germany, on the motorway A8 to Munich, take the Holzkirchen exit and drive past the Tegernsee across the Achenpass to Achenkirch. Turn left off the main road at the Steinberg turn-off.
