Winter hiking
The enchanting winter landscape around Lake Achensee attracts with more than 150 kilometers of beautiful winter hiking trails. Several times a week, the Achensee Region offers guided winter hikes. On various trails one can discover the habitat of animals and plants, observe animals and read tracks, together with nature park rangers.
Horse sleigh ride
With our Noriker horses we will take you on a sleigh ride to one of the beautiful snow-covered side valleys in Achenkirch. A little stopover with a schnapps is of course not to be missed.
Tobogganing
Six natural toboggan runs at Lake Achensee offer fun for the adventurous but also for those who prefer a gentler descent. Those who want to avoid the climb can get to the starting point by taking the gondola at the Christlum skiing area or the Karwendel Bergbahnen. In Pertisau, the Rodlexpress takes guests to the Rodelhütte at the start of the run.
