A swim in Lake Achensee is a real cool down since, due to its depth of 133 metres, the water temperature in summer reaches around 20 degrees at most. Around the lake there are many secluded spots and beaches for swimming and sunbathing.
Kitesurfing, sailing and surfing
Perfect wind conditions make Lake Achensee a paradise for kitesurfers, sailors and surfers. Several water sports schools offer courses. Boards for stand-up paddling are available for rent in all towns around the lake.
